Returns/Policies

How To Purchase:

You can purchase through our website or comment with your email address on the item you want on social media! When commenting with your email address, I will send you an invoice! You have 24 hours to pay invoice. Once you have paid your invoice or purchased online, item(s) will be shipped and should arrive within 2-5 business days. Items are shipped using priority or first class mail depending on weight of package. If you need it quickly, please email us before making your purchase. Note: Shipping time may be delayed due to weather or traffic around the holidays.

Cancelations:

Once an order has been placed on our website, it may NOT be canceled to add a discount code. We are charged fees for each credit card order and if an order is refunded, we don’t get those fees back to us. That being said, we will not refund your order back to you just so you can add a discount  code because then we will be charged the credit card fees twice.

Return Policy (No Exchanges):

I do my very best to accurately describe all descriptions and sizes. I also carefully inspect all clothing items for any damages before I ship them.

The following are FINAL SALE items: Sale/Clearance/Flash Sale Items, Items bought during a sale of 30% off or more, Items bought at Happy Hour Events/Vendor Markets, Holiday items, Jewelry, and Custom Tees.

For items eligible for return they must be:

1) Returned/Postmarked within 10 business days of delivery date

2) Unwashed, Unaltered, and Unworn & Free of Makeup/Deodorant Marks. Tags must still be attached.

3) Shipped back using USPS with a paper copy of paypal/store e-receipt inside

If your item/s meet the above 3 guidelines, please email us at hello@shopalittlepeaceofjoy.com to receive return address (put order# in email). Once the return has been received on our end, an e-gift code will be emailed to you within 2 business days. The original shipping cost for your package along with the shipping cost to return the package will not be refunded. Only the amount for the item/s will be refunded.

We are not responsible for items lost on the way to us to be returned so we advise getting a tracking number for your package.

**NOTE: All returns will be given back as an e-gift card/store credit code.***

Holiday Gift Return Policy:

All gift purchases made between Thanksgiving and Christmas must be postmarked on or before January 10th to be eligible for return. Holiday returns will be for store credit and must be in compliance with our return policy (see above). "Holiday themed" items such as leggings with reindeer, tops with Christmas sayings, etc, will not be eligible for return after Christmas.

Exchanges:

We understand that sometimes sizing can be off between brands. If you need to exchange to a different size in the same item, you must still pay to return the item to us. However, we will pay for the new size to be mailed back to you once we receive tracking confirmation that the other one is headed back to us.

Order is Lost:

I understand sometimes things get lost. However, once I drop your order off at the post office, it is out of my hands. I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items made by the post office. I will definitely work with you to try and figure out how to reorder your items but I cannot 100% replace it due to post office mistakes. All of our packages do come with tracking numbers so you should always be able to watch to see where it is going! Please contact your local post office if your tracking # says delivered and it has not been delivered.

Store Credit/Discounts:

If you receive any store credit, it must be used within 3 months of the date you received it! FYI: The website only allows you to spend over the amount of the store credit. Also, we do not stack discounts.

Shipping:

Shipping can take anywhere from 2-5 business days to arrive to you. Please allow a couple days of processing and packaging time. All packages come with a tracking number. Please check your tracking number before contacting us looking for your package.

Damaged Item/s (New Policy as of 11/14/17):

We personally do our best to inspect every single piece of clothing before we ship it to you or put it out for a pop up show. That being said, we are human and make mistakes. If you received a damaged item, please send us the pictures within 24 hours of receiving your purchase. If the damage is approved, we will issue you store credit for the exact amount you paid for the item.
